Jesse the father of David the king.
David was the father of Solomon
Solomon the father of Rehoboam,
Rehoboam the father of Abijah,
Abijah the father of Asa,
Asa the father of Jehoshaphat,
Jehoshaphat the father of Joram,
Joram the father of Uzziah,
Uzziah the father of Jotham,
Jotham the father of Ahaz,
Ahaz the father of Hezekiah,
Hezekiah the father of Manasseh,
Manasseh the father of Amos,
Amos the father of Josiah,
Josiah the father of Jechoniah
Jechoniah was the father of Shealtield
Shealtield the father of Zerubbabel,
Zerubbabel the father of Abiud,
Abiud the father of Eliakim,
Eliakim the father of Azor,

So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations,
and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations,
and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations.
(from the Gospel of Matthew)
I pray that this text finds you witnessing to the divinity of Jesus.
I pray that we may all have had a day of genealogy.
Please pray for all those listed in all the parts of the litany from last Monday.
