From Morning Prayer:

St. Henry II, Patron of the handicapped

Jesus said to his apostles:

"A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master; it is enough for the disciple to be like his teacher, and the servant like his master.

If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household.

... and do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell. ..."

(from the Gospel of Mt. 10: 24–33)

I pray that this text finds you knowing you will not be treated better than our Savior was.

I pray that we may all have had a day of the truth of our Lord and Savior.

Please pray for all those listed in all the parts of the litany from last Monday (Part 1)(Part 2)(Part 3)(Part 4).
