From Morning Prayer:
St. Maria Goretti, Virgin and Martyr
... And no one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch tears away from the garment, and a worse tear is made.
Neither is new wine put into old wineskins; if it is, the skins burst, and the wine is spilled, and the skins are destroyed;
but new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved."
(from the Gospel of Mt. 9: 14–17)
I pray that this text finds you being gently purified.
I pray that we may all have had a day of being made new to house the Holy Spirit within.
Please pray for all those listed in all the parts of the litany from last Monday (Part 1)(Part 2)(Part 3)(Part 4).
