From Morning Prayer:
Saint Blaise, Bishop, Martyr, Patron of those with ailments of the throat
... And there was a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years, who suffered under many physicians, and spent all she had, and was not better but worse.
She came up behind Him and touched His garment saying, "If I touch even His garments, I'll be made well."
And immediately the hemorrhage ceased; and she was healed.
Jesus felt power go from Him, and said,
"Who touched my garments?"
He looked around. The woman came and told Him the truth. He said to her,
"Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease." ...
(very loosely from the Gospel of Mk. 5: 21-43)
I pray that this text finds you knowing Jesus fulfilled the law, all of it.
I pray that we may all have had a day of saying, "Lord, only say the word ... ."
Please pray for all those listed in all the parts of the litany from yesterday (Part 1), (Part 2), (Part 3), (Part 4), (Part 5), (Part 6), (Part 7), (Part 8), (Part 9), (Part 10), (Part 11), (Part 12).
