From Morning Prayer:

The Octave of Christmas

Saint Basil the Great, Saint Gregory Nazianzen the Theologian, Bishops, Doctors

... He confessed, he did not deny, but confessed,

"I am not the Christ."

And they asked him, "What then? Are you Eli'jah?" He said, "I am not." "Are you the prophet?" And he answered, "No."

They said to him then, "Who are you? Let us have an answer for those who sent us. What do you say about yourself?"

He said, "I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way of the Lord,' as the prophet Isaiah said."

(from the Gospel of Jn. 1: 19-28)

I pray that this text finds you doing the will of God, just like the Blessed Virgin Mary did.

I pray that we may all have had a day of making straight the way of the Lord, like John did.

Please pray for all those listed in all the parts of the litany from last Monday (Part 1), (Part 2), (Part 3), (Part 4), (Part 5), (Part 6), (Part 7), (Part 8), (Part 9), (Part 10), (Part 11).
